Manitowoc Foodservice Wins Innovation, Customer Service Awards From Subway

New Port Richey, Florida - At the convention of the Subway chain recent Annual Report in San Francisco, Manitowoc Foodservice has received two awards recognizing excellence in customer service and innovation, he said.

John Klingenberg, vice president of global accounts for Manitowoc Foodservice, accepted the award for innovation chain Subway, on behalf of Manitowoc Ice, manufacturer of ice machines, and Merrychef, a manufacturer of baking ovens accelerated its products Innovative last year.

In company news, New Port Richey, Florida-based Manitowoc Foodservice has promoted Kathy Veder the newly created position of vice president of global accounts for Wendy,

Chick-fil-A and Arby.In his new role, she will focus on marketing initiatives, including strategic direction, management product line, business development and customer service.

Veder has over 20 years experience in sales, strategic planning, research and development, engineering and finance. Previously, she served as vice president of marketing with Frymaster. Prior to joining Manitowoc, she held various management positions as executive vice president and chief marketing within the industry.
