Hace 40 años, Unión era eliminado Torneo Regional por Don Orione

La mayor decepción futbolística de Unión desde su ingreso a los registros de la Asociación del Fútbol Argentino en 1942, tras perder la categoría por segunda vez de primera división, retornando al principal certamen de ascenso, fue regresar a la liga de origen y pretender desde allí conseguir un puesto en los Regionales para clasificara los campeonatos nacionales. Fue un serio error de los dirigentes tatengues retirarse de la AFA para competir en la liga local, que le abrió cálidamente sus puertas, porque perdió prestigio, jerarquía y seriedad, al jugar ante modestas instituciones del interior de la provincia y del país, que pretendían crecer y evolucionar futbolísticamente en esta competencia para llegar a competir con los mejores exponentes del balompié argentino. Con motivo de la reestructuración planteada desde la intervención en la AFA y la concreción del Torneo Nacional a partir de 1967, con la participación de equipos del interior del país, fue necesaria la realización de un torneo Regional, para clasificar a los representantes de las ligas de tierra adentro para competir en el nuevo certamen. En 1971, el Consejo Federal, programó el V Torneo Regional, que se dividió en siete grupos, cuyos ganadores participarían del Campeonato Nacional. Además obtuvieron ese derecho los campeones de la Federación Tucumana (San Martín) y de las Ligas de Córdoba (Belgrano), Mar del Plata (Kimberley) y de Mendoza (Gimnasia y Esgrima).

The app features location finder for users in the South Pacific and provides maps and a photo gallery of each of the WorldMark South Pacific Club’s 21 resorts located across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji as well as suggestions about the best places to wine and dine and must-see attractions nearby. A locality guide is also handy to have when “on the go”.
