I had some time to kill yesterday when I was in Goshen so I headed to the RV & Motorhome Hall Of Fame. It's right next I80/90 it is easily accessible when traveling Arfe that way. The facility is really nice, well organized and very clean.
The Go RVing Hall area has a couple of new devices on the screen, nothing real impressive here. Hall Ingram has the museum is housed in a timeline. From early 1900 it ends with VR platforms from the early 1980s. I found it really interesting to see how VR progressed through the years and inventive ideas that manufacturers had several.
Upstairs you will find pictures of the walls to hold all the inductees to the Hall of Fame. Most of them I knew little about and I wish they would have had a small plaque by letting us know a little about them.
It is an area that has a number of RV manufacturers and related displays. Not very interesting for me. Last area is the research library. Here they had the documentation, magazines and other materials from a number of years. I was not looking to find but I did not see a Kelly Blue Book on a table so I looked up the value of my coach. Interesting that the trade value is more than what I paid for it.
Overall, it was an interesting stop. If you are at all interesting and Motorhomes RV you should stop by. Admission is $ 8 ($ 4 for seniors) and they have no dry camping if you need it.
