Every week I highlight my favorite episode of a popular television series. This week I'm mixing it up by going over my favorite episode of a popular web series. The Angry Video Game Nerd from CineMassacre.com in association with ScrewAttack.com features James Rolfe giving profanity laced tirades against some of the worst video games ever made. Rolfe is a gamer with a classic video game collection any geek would die for. Rolfe knows his stuff too. His review of the Atari Swordquest games going over the history of the franchise was very interesting. The episode opens with the usual intro, but keeps going from there. It simply continues on with Kyle Justin, who does the theme song from behind Rolfe's couch, sticking around. It's revealed that Justin basically lives behind the couch and finally wants to not only sit on the couch, but play a game too. Rolfe finally gives in. Funny parts includes them dancing to the pause music and just yelling back and forth at each other. The two have good chemistry with each other and the team review is fun for something different. It's also cool to see Rolfe review a game for once that is actually pretty good, but has a fatal flaw. I need to apologize, I posted as Bart last week about the ending to Casablanca. I probably should have used the name Bart Simpson to explain the reference. The first thing I thought of about movis that end with "The End" was the episode of The Simpsons "Natural Born Kissers" where Bart and Lisa discover the alternate ending to Casablanca. I'm very sorry the joke wasn't funny.

I boarded my flight at 1am and proceeded to spend the next 20 hours in transit. Casablanca to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Montreal, and then Montreal to Halifax. Funny enough, after it was all said and done, Halifax is only a 3-hour time zone difference from Casablanca, and yet it is a 4-hour time zone difference from Vancouver to Halifax. It gives you an idea as to how big Canada is. I bought the pepper spray/mace way back last August while cycling through Oregon. It was an impulsive purchase, a self defense purchase in case I was unlucky enough to be attacked by vicious man or dog. Looking back now at my year on the bike, the purchase seems so foolish and fear driven. Maybe it has been just good luck, maybe it is a testament to my traveling wits, but I did not encounter anything in the world that was deserved of being pepper sprayed. Security didn’t know what to make of it. I explained why I had it, my bicycle trip, and how I forgot to pack it in my checked luggage. They said they would have to keep it, but not just that, because mace is illegal in Canada, the Montreal police were called and I was questioned by them too. Thankfully the label on the bottle had long worn off and so I stuck to my story emphasizing it was bear spray and not mace (same product marketed for a different type of attacker). Thanks to the generosity of Starwood Hotel Group, some of my nights crossing Canada will be spent in luxury. Starwood Hotel Group has become one of Ride Don’t Hide campaign’s major sponsors. They have agreed to help by sponsoring all of our hotel accommodations in the Starwood properties which include such wonderful hotels as Four Points, Weston, Sheraton, W, and Le Meridien hotels. The only thing that is disappointing about the deal is that unfortunately small towns in Canada don’t harbour these luxury hotels!
